Touching second was Drury&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Erica Dahlgren<\/strong> in 4:52.16, and Grand Valley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Leonie Van Noort<\/strong> took third in 4:52.52. Van Noort entered as the No. 2 seed in the event at 4:47.80.<\/p>\n<p>Another West Chester swimmer got into the A-final with\u00a0<strong>Theresa Hayward<\/strong> finishing fourth in 4:53.79, while Free<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Drury freshman\u00a0<strong>Joan Cadanovas\u00a0<\/strong>led all qualifiers out of this morning&#8217;s prelims, posting a 4:21.80 to secure the middle lane in tonight&#8217;s final. Defending NCAA Champion and NCAA record holder\u00a0<strong>Dion Dreesens\u00a0<\/strong>was just behind him in 2nd at 4:22.25, while West senior\u00a0and 2014 NCAA Champion\u00a0<strong>Victor Polyakov\u00a0<\/strong>was 2 seconds back in 4:23.82 to grab the 3rd seed.<\/p>\n<p>That was a big jump for Dreesens up from his #10 seed going into the meet, and he will be joined by Queens teammate\u00a0<strong>Nick Arakelian\u00a0<\/strong>in the championship final. Notably, freshman\u00a0<strong>Konrad Stepien<\/strong>, the #1 seed going into the meet, finished 9th out of prelims with a 4:25.88 to take the middle lane in the consolation final.<\/p>\n<pre><b> leading all qualifiers with a 54.06. Just behind her was Northern Michigan freshman\u00a0<strong>Rachel Helm\u00a0<\/strong>in 54.13 and Queens senior\u00a0<strong>Hannah Peiffer\u00a0<\/strong>in 54.18.<\/p>\n<p>Rudenko was the only woman in\u00a0the 400 medley field to go under 54.0 last night, and as the #1 seed should\u00a0have some confidence going into tonight&#8217;s competitive field.
