{"id":245224,"date":"2017-03-08T10:53:29","date_gmt":"2017-03-08T17:53:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=245224"},"modified":"2017-03-08T11:30:20","modified_gmt":"2017-03-08T18:30:20","slug":"official-psych-sheet-for-ncaa-division-1-mens-championships-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/official-psych-sheet-for-ncaa-division-1-mens-championships-released\/","title":{"rendered":"Official Psych Sheet for NCAA Division 1 Men&#8217;s Championships Released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just over 24 hours\u00a0after the release of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2017-ncaa-division-i-mens-championship-pre-selection-psych-sheet-released\/\" target=\"_blank\">pre-cut psych sheets for the NCAA Division I men&#8217;s championships<\/a>, USA Swimming has posted the official version with only the swimmers that have been actually selected to swim in the meet.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2017-ncaa-division-i-mens-championships-official-psych-sheet-ncaa-college-2017-03-22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">2017 NCAA Division I Men&#8217;s NCAA Championships Official\u00a0Psych Sheet<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>The top 29 to 30 entrants into each event were selected to compete.<\/p>\n<p>Atotal of 235 athletes from 50 schools received invitations. Cal had the most with 17 invited swimmers, followed by Texas with 15 and Stanford with 14.<\/p>\n<p>Every swimmer selected to compete individually may also compete in any other events in which they hold NCAA &#8220;B&#8221; cuts. Swimmers who are not selected individually but do attend the meet to compete on relays may\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong> compete in any individual events, even if they have a &#8220;B&#8221; cut slower than the selection time.<\/p>\n<p>Also released was the list of <a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2017-ncaa-division-i-mens-championships-invited-swimmers-by-team-ncaa-college-2017-03-22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">eligible individuals by school<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2017-ncaa-division-i-mens-championships-eligible-relays-ncaa-college-2017-03-22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">eligible relays <\/a>for each event.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the NCAA published a list of alternates that would get into the meet if one or more swimmers drop out\u2014and since swimmers usually do withdraw, some of those on this list are likely\u00a0to get in.
