LAST week, Australian coach Stan Tilley passed away due to a short illness at the age of 84 according to the <i>Northern Star<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Tilley coached Petria Thomas, Adam Pine and Dyana Calub among plenty of other local swimmers in the area. <\/p>\n<p>Thomas went on to become a three-time Olympic gold medalist with an individual win in the 100 fly along with relay wins in the 400 free and 400 medley relays at the 2004 Athens Games. Pine also claimed an Olympic gold medal as part of Australia&#39;s victorious 400 free relay at the 2000 Sydney Games.
