THE first night at the USA Swimming Sectionals meet hosted by Gator Swim Club featured long course racing in the women&#39;s 1500 free, men&#39;s 800 free, and two relay events for both women and men.  Notably, the host club swept the men&#39;s relays on night one.<\/p>\n<p>Sarasota YMCA went 1-3 in the women&#39;s 1500, with Danielle Valley claiming the win in 16:43.09, while her teammate Marissa Harrington finished third in 17:05.99.  Sharla Milne, unattached, split the difference with a second-place 16:49.69.  Metro Miami&#39;s Carlos Omana picked up the men&#39;s 800 win in 8:12.15, while Sarasota teammates Nicholas Caldwell (8:13.23) and Patrick Ceddia (8:26.10) rounded out the top three.<\/p>\n<p>Bolles&#39; team of Brittany Aubley, Kendall Sieron, Megan Fonteno, and Stacey Stanfield took the women&#39;s 200 medley relay in 1:59.73, while Club Seminole took the women&#39;s 200 free relay in 1:47.07.  Gator Swim Club swept the men&#39;s relays, winning the 200 medley relay in 1:44.41 and the 200 free relay in 1:35.13.  Names of the swimmers on the women&#39;s 200 free relay and both men&#39;s relays were not available at press time.<\/p>\n<p><i> Swimming World high school intern David &quot;The Swim Geek&quot; Rieder is a high school swimmer in Charleston, S.C.
