Garcia touched just ahead of Fackenthal with a 52.70, while Fackenthal settled for second and a 52.78. BREA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexis Margett<\/strong> snagged third with a final time of 53.66.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bryce Mefford<\/strong> of SMST scorched the competition in the men&#8217;s 100 fly, touching in a final time of 46.80 to scrape 1.72 seconds off his prelims time of 48.52. OAPB&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jolen Griffin\u00a0<\/strong>touched second overall with a 48.65, while PS&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Brendan Santana<\/strong> took third with a 48.70.<\/p>\n<p>Mefford later added a gold medal in the 100 back to his collection, finishing with a time of 47.38. DART&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Gianluca Urlando\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed second with a 48.92, followed by Griffin&#8217;s 49.39.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taylor Ault\u00a0<\/strong>of RMDA swam away from the competition in finals of the women&#8217;s 500 free, turning in a final time of 4:40.95. The 18-year-old scratched 4.86 seconds off her prelims time of 4:45.81. BREA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mikki Thompson\u00a0<\/strong>posted a second place finish of 4:$6.32, just ahead of FAST&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Courtney Tseng\u00a0<\/strong>and her time of 4:49.71.<\/p>\n<p>Thompson quickly rebounded from her second place finish to claim victory in the 200 IM just a few events later. Thompson touched in a final time of 2:00.31, while Garcia added a silver to her medal collection with a 2:02.28. STAS&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Kristina Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>touched third with a 2:02.45.<\/p>\n<p>RMDA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Brad Gonzales\u00a0<\/strong>claimed his second individual win of the meet with a top showing in the men&#8217;s 500 free. Gonzales posted a 4:22.42 to add to the 500 win to his distance collection. FAST&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Simon Lamar<\/strong> picked up second with a 4:25.99, followed by RMDA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>David Wang&#8217;s<\/strong> 4:29.11.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 100 back proved to be one of the closest races of the night as\u00a0<strong>Alexandra Crisera<\/strong> of CITI and\u00a0<strong>Chloe Clark<\/strong> of SMST finished a shy .01 seconds apart. Crisera got her hand to the wall first, posting a 54.42 over Clark&#8217;s 54.43. Clark&#8217;s teammate\u00a0<strong>Jennifer Lathrop\u00a0<\/strong>posted a third place finish of 54.50.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bradley Prolo<\/strong>, swimming unattached, delivered the top time in the men&#8217;s 200 IM, stopping the clock at a final 1:50.19. CCAT&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hayden Liu\u00a0<\/strong>finished second with a 1:51.22, while SCAT&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Weston Rowan\u00a0<\/strong>touched third with a 1:51.66.<\/p>\n<p>Brea Aquatics took home the win in the women&#8217;s 400 medley relay.\u00a0<strong>Emily Trieu\u00a0<\/strong>(56.51),\u00a0<strong>Kelsey Lloyd\u00a0<\/strong>(1:03.13),\u00a0<strong>Alexis Margett<\/strong> (55.59), and\u00a0Thompson (50.79) posted a combined time of 3:46.02 for the gold. North Coast Aquatics finished second with a time of 3:47.98, just ahead of Davis Aquadarts Racing Team&#8217;s 3:48.44.<\/p>\n<p>The relay team of\u00a0<strong>Colby Mefford<\/strong> (51.65),\u00a0<strong>Ben Dillard<\/strong> (57.34), B. Mefford\u00a0(47.18), and\u00a0<strong>Finn O&#8217;Haimhirgin<\/strong> (47.13) from Sierra Marlins Swim Team claimed victory in the men&#8217;s 400 medley relay with a 3:23.30.
