Two meet records were broken on day three finals of the 2017 NAIA Men’s and Women’s National Swimming and Diving Championships.<\/p>\n

Biola’s\u00a0Lisa Tixier\u00a0<\/strong>broke the meet record in the women’s 100 fly while SCAD’s\u00a0Joel Ax\u00a0<\/strong>beat the previous mark in the men’s 200 free.<\/p>\n

Heading into the final day of competition tomorrow, Olivet Nazarene leads both the men and women’s meets.<\/p>\n

Olivet Nazarene won the first event of the evening by nearly one second. The team of\u00a0Deirdre Gerke\u00a0<\/strong>(27.28),\u00a0Andrea Vega\u00a0<\/strong>(28.67),\u00a0Amanda Moran\u00a0<\/strong>(25.07), and\u00a0Leanne Latocha\u00a0<\/strong>(23.23) took gold in 1:44.25.<\/p>\n

SCAD’s\u00a0Julie Henninger\u00a0<\/strong>(27.50),\u00a0Sara Lacusky\u00a0<\/strong>(29.54),\u00a0Cadie Crow\u00a0<\/strong>(25.84), and\u00a0Julie Woody\u00a0<\/strong>(22.24) finished second in 1:45.12 and Biola’s\u00a0Rachel Stinchcomb\u00a0<\/strong>(27.70),\u00a0Emily Silzel\u00a0<\/strong>(30.63),\u00a0Lisa Tixier\u00a0<\/strong>(23.90), and\u00a0Rebecca Brandt\u00a0<\/strong>(24.34) took third in 1:46.57.<\/p>\n

SCAD’s\u00a0Rebecca Justus\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 4:28.83 and Cumberlands’\u00a0Christina Klouda\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 4:30.35.<\/p>\n

Olivet Nazarene’s\u00a0Amanda Moran\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 55.82 and SCAD’s\u00a0Lydia Reinhardt\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 57.44.<\/p>\n
