Drew Kibler<\/strong><\/a> of Carmel Swim Club announced his verbal commitment to the University of Texas via his Instagram earlier today. Kibler, a multiple-time National Age Group (NAG) Record holder, is slated to begin his collegiate career in the fall of 2018.<\/p>\n

Last weekend at the 2017 Indiana Boy’s High School State Championships, Kibler helped lead Carmel to victory with two individual state titles and a new National Public High School record in the 200 free.\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0His time of 1:33.30 flew past\u00a0Maxime Rooney’s<\/strong> former record of 1:33.70<\/p>\n

Kibler currently holds a total of three NAG records – two individual and one relay. He holds short course NAGs for the 15-16 age group in the 200 (1:33.36) and 500 (4:15.36) free,\u00a0and served as anchor on the Washington Township 13-14 age group 200 free relay (1:39.56) long course NAG.<\/p>\n
