St. Xavier’s\u00a0Justin Grender<\/strong>,\u00a0Charles Leibson<\/strong>,\u00a0Luke Sobolewski<\/strong>, and\u00a0Nicholas Perera\u00a0<\/strong>turned in a dominating effort of 1:29.66 to win the 200 medley relay at Division 1 Ohio High School state championships. Ignatius’\u00a0Dimitri Simcox<\/strong>,\u00a0Nicholas Hong<\/strong>,\u00a0Marcus Hong<\/strong>, and\u00a0Cian O’Haimhirgin\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 1:33.12. Rounding out the podium was Brecksville’s David Madej<\/strong>,\u00a0Jack Krusinski<\/strong>,\u00a0Erin Chimes<\/strong>, and\u00a0Pete Krusinski\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:34.35.<\/p>\n

House was also under\u00a0Joe Hudepohl<\/strong>‘s old Division II mark of 1:34.96. Upper Arlington’s\u00a0Parker Neri\u00a0<\/strong>was second in 1:35.23.\u00a0Hank Siefert\u00a0<\/strong>of Xenia finished third (1:38.17).<\/p>\n

House was back again with an even more impressive 500 freestyle. The Arizona State commit<\/a>\u00a0touched in 4:19.15. That time downed a forty year old pool record, set by Olympian\u00a0Bruce Furniss\u00a0<\/strong>in 1977. It was also a new state record.\u00a0Neri was second (4:25.10) and Siefert finished third again (4:29.04).<\/p>\n
