Myers was second in the final with a 53.18 while Szynal, the defending champion, was third at 53.45. Akron broke the meet record by two seconds with a 3:34.39 for the win. Szynal (53.27), Marrero (59.78), Fazekas (52.52) and Myers (48.82) were on the record setting relay for Akron as Eastern was second, under the old record from 2012. Mitcheltree (52.57), Duncan (1:00.06), Carly Jackson<\/strong> (53.77) and Grace Van Allen<\/strong> (49.93) swam for the Eagles as they were solidly in second.
