After releasing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2017-ncaa-division-iii-championships-pre-selection-psych-sheet-released\/\" target=\"_blank\">pre-selection entries<\/a> on Monday, the NCAA has made selections for this year&#8217;s National Championship. That is down from 19 in the 2016 season.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty to 21 women were selected in the individual events, while relays have 16 accepted entries a piece. Those numbers are consistent with last year&#8217;s selections.<\/p>\n<p>Even with a consistent number of athletes\u00a0on the women&#8217;s side, the times needed to qualify have dropped in most events for both genders.<\/p>\n<p>The meet will take place in Shenandoah, Texas, March 15-18.\u00a0Official psych sheets will become available on Monday at which time divers will also be announced.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NCAA has released the unofficial psych sheets for Division III NCAAs.
