Chevrus won the boys title with 286.5 points. Bangor was not far behind with 258.<\/p>\n<p>Cony opened and closed the meet with relay victories. The team of\u00a0<strong>Anne Guadalupi<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Molly Silsby<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Gabby Low<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Cecilia Guadalupi\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 1:51.27 for medley relay victory. In the 400 freestyle relay,\u00a0<strong>Talia Jorgensen<\/strong>, Low, Guadalupi and Guadalupi posted a 3:41.10 for the win.<\/p>\n<p>Brunswick&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caitlin Tycz<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ella Tycz<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mallory Palmer<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Emily Cowan\u00a0<\/strong>took home the 200 freestyle relay title in 1:45.53.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ymca-national-record-holder-caitlin-tycz-commits-to-southern-cal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Southern California commit<\/a> Caitlin Tycz put together some of the most impressive performances of the afternoon. She opened the meet with a 200 freestyle victory in 1:50.35. That time was a state record. Joining her under two minutes was Anne Guadalupi in 1:58.04. Tycz later won the 100 butterfly in 53.67, breaking her own Bowdoin College pool record. Low was also under a minute in 57.82.<\/p>\n<p>Cony swimmers won a number of events en route to their state title. Cecilia Guadalupi captured the 200 IM in 2:11.87. In the 100 breaststroke she stopped the clock in 1:08.68.<\/p>\n<p>Cheverus&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Abby Longstaff\u00a0<\/strong>topped the 50 freestyle with a 24.47. Jorgensen was second with a 25.01. Jorgensen then scored a state title with a 54.71 100 freestyle. Despite a strong last underwater from Low, Longstaff held on to win the 100 backstroke in 58.02. Low earned silver in 58.18.<\/p>\n<p>Anne Guadalupi ran away with the 500 freestyle title, stopping the clock in 5:18.62. Bangor&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hannah Wood\u00a0<\/strong>touched second in 5:28.12.<\/p>\n<p>The Bangor boys dominated the 200 medley relay with a 1:37.61 with the team of\u00a0<strong>Carson Prouty<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Colby Prouty<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Payton Campbell<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Sam Carlson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Falmouth&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Connor Perron\u00a0<\/strong>out touched Carson Prouty 1:47.05 to 1:47.70 to win the 200 freestyle. Colby Prouty then followed that swim with a winning 200 IM, stopping the clock in 1:58.42. Perron dominated the 500 freestyle in 4:46.94, the only swimmer under five minutes. After a second place finish earlier in the afternoon, Carson Prouty struck gold with a 53.11 100 backstroke. Colby made it another state title for Bangor, ending the night with his 57.74 100 breaststroke. Brunswick&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Brian Hess\u00a0<\/strong>also cleared a minute in 59.57.<\/p>\n<p>The 50 freestyle title went to Cheverus&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Shane Moore\u00a0<\/strong>in 21.28, not far ahead of Cony&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nathaniel Berry\u00a0<\/strong>(21.79). Moore then topped the podium again in 46.64 in the 100 freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Thornton Academy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Eli Steward\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 53.65 to win the 100 butterfly. Hampden Academy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cameron LaBree\u00a0<\/strong>was runner up in 54.01.<\/p>\n<p>Cheverus&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Phineas Underwood<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Shane Moore<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Quintin Hastings<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Gustav Anderson\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:30.64.
