The Jesuit boys soared to a convincing victory, outscoring second place Sunset by over 100 points. The battle for second was closer, with Sunset (113 points) finishing ahead of McMinnville (104 points).<\/p>\n<p>The girls\u2019 meet featured a hard fought battle for first, with Sunset (203) ultimately prevailing by a four point margin over Jesuit (199), and Lakeridge claiming third with 124.5 points.<\/p>\n<p>The Jesuit boys claimed all three relays. In the 200 medley relay, the Jesuit quartet combined for a 1:35.75 for the gold. Sunset earned silver with a 1:38.58, with South Salem taking the bronze in 1:38.87. In the 200 free relay, Jesuit again took the top spot (1:26.94), followed by Sunset (1:27.35) and McMinnville (1:29.33). In the 200 freestyle relay, Jesuit finished first in a 1:26.94. Sunset finished second in 1:27.35, while McMinnville earned the bronze in a 1:29.33.<\/p>\n<p>The final relay saw Jesuit post a commanding 3:08.41 for gold, with Sunset again in second (3:13.39) and McMinnville once again finishing third in a 3:14.93.<\/p>\n<p>Jesuit\u2019s <strong>Trent Martinez<\/strong> won the 200 free in a swift 1:39.93. <strong>Douglas Heymann<\/strong>, of Lake Oswego finished second in 1:44.16 with <strong>Levi Burres<\/strong> of McMinnville right behind him in a 1:44.55.<\/p>\n<p>The 200 IM went to <strong>Sam Harquail<\/strong> of Grant in a 1:51.84. <strong>Kevin Keil<\/strong> of Central Catholic touched the wall in second place (1:53.02), followed closely by Jesuit\u2019s <strong>Anthony Nosack<\/strong> (1:53.82).<\/p>\n<p>Wilson\u2019s <strong>Evan Carlson<\/strong> claimed the state title in the 50 free with a 20.70. He was joined on the podium by <strong>Micah Masei<\/strong> of West Salem in second (20.99) and <strong>Garrett Sutton<\/strong> of McMinnville (21.30).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ethan Luck<\/strong> of Westview prevailed in the 100 free, finishing over a second ahead of <strong>Reilly Goddard<\/strong> of Jesuit who touched the wall in a 47.84. Rounding out the podium was <strong>Tyler Cook<\/strong> of South Salem in 48.02.<\/p>\n<p>Van Mathias of Beaverton claimed victory in the 100 fly in a 48.61. Second place went to Carlson\u00a0(49.73), while <strong>Ben Miller<\/strong> of Tigard finished third (50.38).<\/p>\n<p>Jesuit\u2019s Martinez earned his second trip to the top of the podium, winning the 500 free (4:32.61) by a convincing 13 seconds. In a close fought battle for second, <strong>Jordan Convery<\/strong> of Reynolds (4:45.56) out-touched <strong>Jared Mendez<\/strong> of Tualatin (4:46.01).<\/p>\n<p>The meet\u2019s second double winner, Beaverton\u2019s Mathias, claimed victory in the 100 backstroke with a 50.48. Second place went to South Salem\u2019s <strong>Daisuke Fitial<\/strong> (52.03), and third place to <strong>Paolo Casas<\/strong> of Jesuit (52.96).<\/p>\n<p>The top spot in the breaststroke went to <strong>Sam Harquail<\/strong> of Grant in a 56.70.<strong> Anthony Nosack<\/strong> of Jesuit (57.28) prevailed in a close battle for second, edging out <strong>Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> of Sunset who touched the wall in a 57.45.<\/p>\n<p>The Jesuit girls started the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay, with the quartet stopping the clock in 1:44.23. Sunset earned the silver (1:45.13), with Aloha claiming bronze in 1:47.27.<\/p>\n<p>However Sunset topped the podium for the final two relays, securing gold in the 200 freestyle relay with a 1:36.83, followed by Aloha in second (1:38.27) and McMinnville (1:40.86). The 400 freestyle relay victory was more commanding, with Sunset posting an impressive 3:31.08 ahead of Lakeridge (3:37.18) and Lincoln (3:38.50).<\/p>\n<p>The 200 freestyle was a close race, but in the end <strong>Caitlyn Wilson<\/strong> of Southridge finished first in 1:51.35, out-touching <strong>Sofia Nosack<\/strong> of Jesuit (1:51.63) with <strong>Angie Lindsay<\/strong> of Sunset, finishing third in 1:52.41. Wilson doubled-down on the mid-distance races, claiming a second victory in the 500 free with a 4:56.71. <strong>Tia Lindsay<\/strong> of Sunset also broke the five minute barrier, securing silver with a 4:59.75, while <strong>Sofia Nosack<\/strong> of Jesuit claimed third with a 5:01.22.<\/p>\n<p>In the 200 IM, <strong>Tia Lindsay<\/strong> (Sunset) and <strong>Katelyn Laderoute<\/strong> (West Linn) battled to the wall, with Lindsay (2:02.83) narrowly besting Laderoute (2:03.77). <strong>Kaitlyn Dobler<\/strong> of Aloha stopped the clock in 2:09.74 for third place.<\/p>\n<p>The sprint freestyles saw the same three ladies battling for the crown. The 50 freestyle title went to <strong>Jamie Stone<\/strong> of Centennial (22.98), with <strong>Alayna Connor<\/strong> of Sunset in second (23.10) and Jesuit\u2019s <strong>Elise Kreutzer<\/strong> in third (24.08). Stone then took the sprint double, claiming victory in the 100 free with a quick 49.77, followed closely once again by Connor (50.29) and Kreutzer (52.19).<\/p>\n<p>Jesuit\u2019s <strong>Emily Cook<\/strong> won the 100 butterfly in a 55.89 in the first individual race of a two-win night for her. Cook prevailed over <strong>Jordan Ashmore<\/strong> of Aloha who earned the silver with her 56.25. Lakeridge\u2019s <strong>Mara Newman<\/strong> was right behind, finishing third in 56.36.<\/p>\n<p>Cook secured her second individual victory of the night with an impressive 53.71 in the 100 back. Newman of Lakeridge was likewise impressive, claiming silver with a 54.51.
