Lake Norman Charter&#8217;s team of\u00a0<strong>Anna Rubel<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Riggan Ayscue<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mattie Luther<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Kara Jones<\/strong> finished first in the women&#8217;s 200 medley relay with a time of 1:50.00. Carrboro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Paloma Baca<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Audrey Costley<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Olivia Weigle<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Anneliese Merry<\/strong> touched second in 1:52.06.\u00a0<strong>Emma Peck<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sydney Parsons<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Heidi Curtis<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Lilly Whalen<\/strong> of Raleigh Charter were third in 1:52.11.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 200 medley relay, Washington&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kevin Andrews<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Patrick Lovenberg<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>AJ Howard<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Justin Clark<\/strong> took first in a time of 1:38.15. The Bishop McGuinness team of\u00a0<strong>Ethan Chase<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Patrick Lancaster<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Thomas Hamlet<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Paul Farley\u00a0<\/strong>was second in 1:42.29. Third place went to Lincoln Charter&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jackson Law<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Neal Stratton<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Zach Whipple<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Grant Swicegood<\/strong> in 1:42.35.<\/p>\n<p>Dropping over five seconds from prelims, Croatan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lyndsey Reeve<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 200 freestyle in 1:50.99.\u00a0<strong>Sydney Willis<\/strong> of Raleigh Charter was second in 1:52.04, and Baca was third in 1:54.07.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 200 freestyle went to Washington&#8217;s Andrews in 1:41.59, over two seconds ahead of the next closest competitor. First Flight&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hunter Crook<\/strong> took second in 1:43.45.\u00a0Whipple was third in 1:44.82.<\/p>\n<p>Comm of Davidson freshman\u00a0<strong>Emme Nelson<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 200 IM in 2:03.98. Ayscue was second in 2:08.74, while Carrboro&#8217;s Merry finished third in 2:09.89.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ethan Knorr<\/strong> of Salisbury won the men&#8217;s 200 IM by over five seconds in a time of 1:53.83. Atkins&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dylan Fore<\/strong> touched second in 1:58.19. Croatan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>James Reindl<\/strong> was third in 1:59.01.<\/p>\n<p>Pine Lake Prep&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Allyson Accordino<\/strong> took the women&#8217;s 50 freestyle in 23.80.\u00a0<strong>Ann Carr<\/strong>, representing River Mill Academy, was second in 24.31, just ahead of Wilkes Central&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sarah Olson\u00a0<\/strong>24.36.<\/p>\n<p>East Carteret&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cameron Harding\u00a0<\/strong>won the men&#8217;s 50 freestyle, touching in 21.89. SW Edgecombe&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jack Coltrane\u00a0<\/strong>took second in 22.04. Howard was third in 22.26.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 100 butterfly went to Lincoln Charter&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexandria Baker<\/strong> with a time of 55.43. Baker&#8217;s teammate\u00a0<strong>Chloe Harris<\/strong> was second in 55.69. Salisbury&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kathryn Morrison<\/strong> was just behind in 55.73.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop McGuinness&#8217;s Hamlet won the men&#8217;s 100 butterfly in 51.35. Whipple was second in 52.21. Third place went to Howard in 52.26.<\/p>\n<p>Baker picked up her second win in the women&#8217;s 100 freestyle, finishing in 51.33. Accordino was close behind in 51.60. Olson took third place in 53.30.<\/p>\n<p>Colrane claimed the men&#8217;s 100 freestyle in 48.62. Shelby&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Davis Kennedy<\/strong> took second in 48.85. Harding was third in 49.58.<\/p>\n<p>Willis took the women&#8217;s 500 freestyle in 4:58.98. Reeve finished second in 5:02.65, while Baca touched third in 5:04.90.<\/p>\n<p>Knorr took his second event of the meet in the men&#8217;s 500 freestyle with a time of 4:33.98. Crook placed second in 4:34.79. Croatan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>John David McCray<\/strong> was third 4:46.51.<\/p>\n<p>The Pine Lake Prep team of Accordino,\u00a0<strong>Maddie Marsh<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kensley Rasbornik<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Rose Auten<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 200 freestyle relay in 1:39.96. Second place went to Lincoln Charter&#8217;s Harris,\u00a0<strong>Julianna Lappin<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Walter<\/strong>, and Baker with a time of 1:40.11. Raleigh Charter&#8217;s team of Peck,\u00a0<strong>Hannalee Ellison<\/strong>, Whalen, and Willis was third in 1:42.42.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 200 freestyle relay went to Shelby&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Keith Chung<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jay Wilson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jack Lari<\/strong>, and Kennedy in 1:31.21. Lincoln Charter&#8217;s team of Swicegood, Stratton, Law, and Whipple touched second in 1:31.65. Third place went to Washingotn&#8217;s Clark,\u00a0<strong>Harrison Schmidt<\/strong>, Patrick Lovenberg, and\u00a0<strong>Tony Lovenberg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Morrison won the women&#8217;s 100 backstroke by two and a half seconds with a time of 55.26. Harris finished second in 57.72, while\u00a0<strong>Avery Tucker<\/strong> of East Surry took third in 59.47.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 100 backstroke, Hamlet picked up another win, with a time of 50.66. Andrews was second in 51.16. Third place went to Reindl with a time of 54.00.<\/p>\n<p>Nelson won again, this time in the women&#8217;s 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.94. Ayscue took second in 1:05.01, with\u00a0<strong>Piper Burton <\/strong>from East Davidson\u00a0touching third in 1:06.82.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 100 breaststroke went to Fore in a time of 1:00.81. Durham Arts&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Myles Sims<\/strong> was second in 1:01.12. <strong>Jason Starbuck<\/strong>, representing Raleigh Charter, finished third in 1:01.62.<\/p>\n<p>Pine Lake Prep took the state championship in the women&#8217;s 400 freestyle relay. <strong>Rachel Daly<\/strong>, Marsh, Rasbornik, and Accordino teamed up for a time of 3:39.38. Second place went to Carrboro&#8217;s team of Merry,\u00a0<strong>Lucy Carroll<\/strong>, Costley, and Baca in 3:42.39. East Surry&#8217;s team of\u00a0<strong>Ashley Hicks<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Anne-Louise Tunstall<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Julie Hicks<\/strong>, and Tucker touched in 3:44.86.<\/p>\n<p>Washington&#8217;s Andrews, <strong>Hodges Tubaugh<\/strong>, Tony Lovenberg, and Howard won the men&#8217;s 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:17.29. <strong>Colby Loveless<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ethan Loveless<\/strong>, McCray, and Reindl of Croatan finished second in 3:22.58. Third place went to Salibury&#8217;s team of Knorr,\u00a0<strong>Keegan Dillon<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Joe Steinman<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Roarke Burton<\/strong> in 3:25.68.<\/p>\n<p>The Pine Lake Prep women won the team title with 332 points. Raleigh Charter was second with 241.5 points. Third place went to Carrboro with 220 points.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s title went to Washington with 256 points.
