Shortly after she arrived, she was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">&#8220;This is a terrible tragedy, and we ask that the community keep our students and Ariel\u2019s family in their thoughts and prayers. Our condolences are with Ariel\u2019s family, and with her teammates and coaches,&#8221; Drury President Dr. <strong>Tim Cloyd<\/strong> said, according to Ozark Sports Zone.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Xu was the Division II NCAA champion in the 50 free and the runner-up in the 100 free last season.
