Swimmers have gone from having full mustaches and not wearing goggles, to not having a single hair on the body and having fancy goggles that streamline the water. The 200 free has dropped a whole seven seconds, which is quite insane when you think about it, compared to the 10 second drop for the 400.<\/p>\n<p>The 800 free has been lowered\u00a0a whole twenty-four seconds, which also shows that the 400 hasn&#8217;t dropped quite as far as the other swims. To finish out the freestyles, the 1500 has only gotten\u00a027 seconds faster in the same time frame. This shows just how fast the 800 free record truly is.<\/p>\n<p>The 100 back has gone down by three and a half seconds, compared to under seven and a half for the 200.<\/p>\n<p>The 100 breast has gone down almost five seconds, a testament to\u00a0just how much faster breaststroke is getting. The 200 breast has dropped over nine seconds, and was actually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ippei-watanabe-breaks-200-breast-world-record-first-man-under-207\/\" target=\"_blank\">just broken again last weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 100 fly has dropped almost a whopping four and a half seconds, and the 200 has gotten\u00a0almost seven seconds faster.
