So to kick off\u00a0<em>Swimming World&#8217;s\u00a0<\/em>extensive coverage of college championship season,\u00a0<strong>Rowdy Gaines<\/strong> joined this week&#8217;s episode of\u00a0<em>Off Deck<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Gaines, a 1984 Olympic gold medalist and the top television analyst for swimming in the United States, joined host <strong>David Rieder\u00a0<\/strong>to\u00a0discuss a wide variety of topics, including what he is most looking forward to about both the women&#8217;s and men&#8217;s NCAA championships. The women&#8217;s meet runs March 15-18 in Indianapolis, and the men&#8217;s meet will begin one week later at the same pool.<\/p>\n<p>Gaines also explained the differences in the NCAA championships in a post-Olympic year compared to last year. He took a few minutes to look back on this summer&#8217;s Olympics and shared a few of his favorite moments from Rio.
