PURDUE&#39;s David Boudia started what will likely to be an NCAA Diver of the Meet journey with a one-meter victory.<\/p>\n<p>Boudia posted a tally of 468.65 points for the win, which smashed Drew Livingston&#39;s 2009 meet record of 442.70. The win gave Boudia his first in the event, and stopped Livingston from defending his title.  With Boudia&#39;s triumph, he became the first man in NCAA history to have won a title in each of the three diving events in a career.  He claimed the three meter and platform titles last year.<\/p>\n<p>Florida State&#39;s Terry Horner, who won in 2007, took second with 432.45 points, while Livingston placed third with 413.10 points.  Livingston had bigger fish to fry as his performance helped Texas move into the lead.<\/p>\n<p>Boudia&#39;s 36-point win is not the largest margin of victory. Greg Louganis, then diving for Miami, beat Robert Bollinger of Indiana, 557.20 to 495.95, in 1980.<\/p>\n<p>Texas finished the event with 117 points, while California stood second with 99 points.
