The SEC season is winding down but there is still plenty of action this week as teams prepare for the conference championship.<\/p>\n

Many of the meets are tune-ups, but there is one big meet this weekend in the SEC.<\/p>\n

Florida hosts Tennessee on senior day in a meet that could be a little bit of a preview of what could happen at the SEC meet.<\/p>\n

The Florida men have had their ups and downs this season and come into the meet ranked No. 10, thought they should be fighting for a team trophy at the NCAA championships.
\nThe Gators will look to put the pieces together against No. 20 Tennessee on Saturday and build some momentum heading into SECs.<\/p>\n

The same is true for the Tennessee women. The women are ranked No. 15 this week as they head to No. 20 Florida.<\/p>\n

Georgia and Texas A&M have established themselves as the SEC leaders, but Auburn, Missouri, Tennessee and Florida all are ranked in the top 20 and have a lot of firepower.<\/p>\n

Tennessee is led by Kira Toussaint<\/strong>, a 2016 Rio Olympian for the Netherlands. She is a backstroker and sprinter, someone that can anchor the Volunteer relays in the postseason.<\/p>\n

This is the chance for the Tennessee women to build some momentum as they look to join that upper echelon at the SEC championships.<\/p>\n

This should be a pretty interesting dual meet.<\/p>\n

Weekend roundup<\/h3>\n

There are several other meets happening in the SEC this weekend. On Friday, Kentucky swims at Cincinnati, and South Carolina host an invite, while the Texas A&M men swim against SMU.<\/p>\n

On Friday and Saturday, LSU hosts Houston, Rice and Tulane and Missouri hosts an invite.<\/p>\n

The other Saturday meets are Kansas at Arkansas and Emory, a Division III power in Atlanta, at Georgia.<\/p>\n
