The meet also served as the Sharks Senior Meet, also celebrated the careers of their 10 seniors.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Sharks dominated the competition from start to finish, defeating the Mocs 155-107 on the women\u2019s side and 150-112 on the men\u2019s side while winning 21 of 28 events. That is a decisive win for the Sharks, who finished second in their conference meet last year to Florida Southern. They will now head into the conference meet undefeated in conference competition with their eyes surely set on taking the team championship at the end of the season. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Sharks had several standout swims throughout the meet. Senior <\/span><b>Emma Wahlstrom <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recorded two individual wins in the 100 free (51.13) and 200 free (1:51.10) and contributed to two relay wins in the 400 medley and 200 free relays. Those are strong swims for the senior who is setting herself up for a great end of the year. She currently leads the country in the 200 free (1:46.43) after finishing third in the event at 2016 NCAA\u2019s. <\/span><b>Malin Westman<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was another double individual event winner in the breaststrokes, winning the 100 (1:04.40) and 200 (2:18.49) in addition to helping the 400 medley relay to an event win. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the men\u2019s side, the Sharks also had two double event winners between juniors <\/span><b>Franco Lupoli<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Anton Lobanov. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lupoli won the men&#8217;s 200 (1:40.52) and 500 \u00a0(4:36.66) freestyles while Lobanov swept the breaststrokes, going 55.55 and 2:01.18. For the Mocs, <\/span><b>Marco Palacios <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was a triple event winner, taking the 100 (50.33) and 200 backstroke (1:51.60) in addition to the 100 butterfly (49.41). \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nova Southeastern will close out their dual meet season in two weeks when they take on Keiser University in West Palm Beach, while Florida Southern will take on Indian River at home next weekend.
