THE second night of short course yard swimming at the Pacific 10 Men's Championships featured Stanford move out to a big lead in Long Beach. At the end of day two, Stanford owned 307 points with California sitting second with 225 points. Arizona (222), Southern California (212) and Arizona State (115) comprised the rest of the field.

Stanford made a huge move in the 500 free with five up and three down to jump into the lead. David Mosko won for Stanford in 4:14.53, an NCAA A cut, while USC's Clement Lefert (4:16.70) and Patrick White (4:18.63) took second and third.

Stanford kept building on its leading total in the 200 IM, nearly eclipsing 200 points with 198 total. Arizona's Ben Grado placed third with 391.75 points.

Stanford concluded a monster day for the Cardinal with a touch-out triumph over California in the 200 free relay. Alex Coville, Aaron Wayne, Jake Allen and David Dunford clocked a 1:17.32 for the win, including an 18.79 anchor from Dunford.
