AFTER the first day of competition at the 2010 Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships, Cleveland State men and Milwaukee women jump out to an early lead.  <\/p>\n<p>The Vikings totaled 142 points, winning the 200-yard freestyle and medley relays while sophomore Mark deSwardt took home gold in the 1000 free and sophomore Josh Gonzalez claimed the top podium spot off the three-meter board.  CSU sits in front of Milwaukee and UIC with 131 and 129 points, respectively.  <\/p>\n<p>The Panther women posted 111 first-day points with the highlight of the evening coming from junior Danielle Wenger. She broke her own 1000 free record in a blistering time of 9:51.81, destroying the old mark by nearly 15 seconds.
