The silver medal bonus will be worth $22,500 (up from $15,000) and bronze medalists $15,000 (previously $10,000).<\/p>\n<p>Paralympic medalist will receive $7500 for gold, $5250 for silver and $3750 for bronze.<\/p>\n<div class=\"col-xs-12\">\n<p>Additionally, USOC monetary awards for athletes who earn World Championship medals in non-Olympic years will be raised by as much as 25%.<\/p>\n<p>This additional income is now tax-exempt, thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/bill-to-change-tax-rules-on-olympic-medals-moves-through-congress\/\" target=\"_blank\">a
