The team of\u00a0<strong>Julie Jensen\u00a0<\/strong>(24.76),\u00a0<strong>Mie Nielsen\u00a0<\/strong>(24.38),\u00a0<strong>Emilie Beckmann\u00a0<\/strong>(24.70), and Ottesen (23.54) swam to a time of 1:37.38.<\/p>\n<p>The Netherlands was just behind them.\u00a0<strong>Tamara Van Vliet\u00a0<\/strong>(24.44),\u00a0<strong>Maaike De Waard\u00a0<\/strong>(24.39),\u00a0<strong>Kim Busch\u00a0<\/strong>(24.16), and\u00a0<strong>Maud Van Der Meer\u00a0<\/strong>(24.46) combined for a time of 1:37.45.<\/p>\n<p>Representing Canada, the team of\u00a0<strong>Sandrine Mainville<\/strong> (24.35),\u00a0<strong>Alexia Zevnik\u00a0<\/strong>(24.54),\u00a0<strong>Taylor Ruck\u00a0<\/strong>(24.12), and\u00a0<strong>Sarah Darcel<\/strong> (24.90) swam to a time of 1:37.91, good for third.<\/p>\n<p>France followed in 1:37.97 for fourth. Fifth went to the United States in 1:38.11, just ahead of Italy&#8217;s time of 1:38.15.<\/p>\n<p>China (1:38.24) and Japan (1:39.54) rounded out the top eight qualifiers.<\/p>\n<h1>Men&#8217;s 200 Backstroke:<\/h1>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Masaki Kaneko<\/strong> led the morning heats with a time of 1:50.30.\u00a0<strong>Radoslaw Kawecki<\/strong> of Poland finished second in 1:51.00. The United States&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Jacob Pebley\u00a0<\/strong>was just behind in 1:51.17 for third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jiayu Xu<\/strong> of China swam to fourth with a time of 1:51.35, just ahead of Lithuanian\u00a0<strong>Danas Rapsys,\u00a0<\/strong>who touched in 1:51.38.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hayate Matsubara<\/strong> of Japan took sixth in 1:51.51. Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mitchell Larkin<\/strong> swam to seventh in 1:51.87. Romanian\u00a0<strong>Robert Glinta<\/strong> took the final spot in tonight&#8217;s final with a 1:51.92.<\/p>\n<h1>Women&#8217;s 200 Breaststroke:<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Chloe Tutton<\/strong> of Great Britain led prelims by over a second with a time of 2:18.89. The Canadian duo of\u00a0<strong>Kierra Smith\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kelsey Lauren Wog<\/strong> followed her in 2:19.87 and 2:20.26 for second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth place went to Japan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kako Ishida<\/strong> with a time of 2:20.39. Tutton&#8217;s British teammate,\u00a0<strong>Molly Renshaw<\/strong>, swam to fifth in a time of 2:20.80. Renshaw just out touched American\u00a0<strong>Molly Hannis<\/strong>, who came in at 2:20.82.<\/p>\n<p>Seventh place went to Belgium&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Fanny Lecluyse<\/strong> in 2:20.96.\u00a0<strong>Lilly King<\/strong> snuck into the final in eighth with a time of 2:21.17.<\/p>\n<h1>Men&#8217;s 4&#215;100 Medley Relay:<\/h1>\n<p>The Australian team of\u00a0<strong>Bobby Hurley\u00a0<\/strong>(51.11),\u00a0<strong>Tommy Sucipto\u00a0<\/strong>(57.95),\u00a0<strong>David Morgan\u00a0<\/strong>(49.73), and\u00a0<strong>Daniel Smith\u00a0<\/strong>(46.96) posted the top time of the morning, touching at 3:25.75.<\/p>\n<p>The Russian Federation followed close behind.\u00a0<strong>Grigory Tarasevich\u00a0<\/strong>(51.34),\u00a0<strong>Oleg Kostin\u00a0<\/strong>(57.66),\u00a0<strong>Aleksandr Kharlanov\u00a0<\/strong>(49.95), and\u00a0<strong>Aleksandr Popkov\u00a0<\/strong>(46.89) combined for a time of 3:25.84.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pavel Sankovich\u00a0<\/strong>(51.47),\u00a0<strong>Ilya Shymanovich\u00a0<\/strong>(56.99),\u00a0<strong>Yauhen Tsurkin\u00a0<\/strong>(50.40), and\u00a0<strong>Artsiom Machekin\u00a0<\/strong>(47.44) of Belarus swam to third in a time of 3:26.30.<\/p>\n<p>The United States touched fourth in 3:26.88. Great Britain and France tied for fifth with a time of 3:27.03.<\/p>\n<p>Seventh place went to China (3:27.38), and Japan finished in eighth (3:27.47).<\/p>\n<h1>Women&#8217;s 4&#215;100 Medley Relay:<\/h1>\n<p>The United States women led prelims of the 4&#215;100 medley relay.\u00a0<strong>Hellen Stewart Moffitt<\/strong> (58.32),\u00a0<strong>Molly Hannis\u00a0<\/strong>(1:03.54),\u00a0<strong>Sarah Gibson\u00a0<\/strong>(57.81), and\u00a0<strong>Amanda Weir\u00a0<\/strong>(53.18) teamed up to swim to a time of 3:52.85.<\/p>\n<p>Japan followed close behind, with\u00a0<strong>Emi Moronuki<\/strong> (58.22),\u00a0<strong>Miho Teramura\u00a0<\/strong>(1:03.88),\u00a0<strong>Rikako Ikee\u00a0<\/strong>(56.74), and\u00a0<strong>Tomomi Aoki<\/strong> (54.13) touching in 3:52.97.<\/p>\n<p>The Australians came in third, with\u00a0<strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong> (56.97),\u00a0<strong>Jessica Leigh Hansen\u00a0<\/strong>(1:05.31),\u00a0<strong>Emily Washer\u00a0<\/strong>(57.58),\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Brittany Elmslie<\/strong> (53.12) combining for a time of 3:52.98.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadians finished in fourth in 3:53.68.
