Earlier this morning\u00a0Richard McLaren<\/strong> and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) released his second Independent Person report, which expanded on his first reports findings of a state-wide run doping system.<\/p>\n

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) released a statement shortly after the release of the report, finding the results of the report to be both “unprecedented and astonishing.”<\/p>\n

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) would like to place on record our thanks and appreciation to Professor McLaren and his investigation team for completing their mandate.<\/span><\/p>\n

The full findings of the report are unprecedented and astonishing. They strike right at the heart of the integrity and ethics of sport.<\/span><\/p>\n

We wholeheartedly agree with Professor McLaren that the best course of action is to work together to fix the broken and compromised anti-doping system in Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The recently appointed IPC Taskforce looks forward to working closely with our member the Russian Paralympic Committee to do just that.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
