Today&#8217;s episode discusses the men&#8217;s awards. <strong>Michael Phelps <\/strong>was named World Swimmer of the Year for a record-eighth time, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/swimming-world-magazine-announces-european-swimmers-of-the-year\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Adam Peaty<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/swimming-world-magazine-announces-pacific-rim-swimmers-of-the-year\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kosuke Hagino<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/swimming-world-magazine-announces-african-swimmers-of-the-year\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chad le Clos<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>all won regional honors.<\/p>\n<p>SwimVortex\u2019s\u00a0<strong>John Lohn\u00a0<\/strong>returned to discuss his ballots with\u00a0<em>Off Deck<\/em> host\u00a0<strong>David Rieder<\/strong>. Both voted for Phelps for World Swimmer of the Year, and they explained why they felt it was appropriate to honor the greatest swimmer of all-time.
