But the Canadian team ended up getting disqualified,\u00a0leaving Italy with silver and the Netherlands bronze.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian squad was slated to swim with a team of\u00a0<strong>Sandrine Mainville<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Alexia Zevnik<\/strong>,\u00a0Oleksiak and\u00a0<strong>Michelle Williams<\/strong>, but Williams ended up swimming the third leg and Oleksiak anchoring. That procedural issue resulted in the DQ.<\/p>\n<p>Italy&#8217;s squad of\u00a0<strong>Erika Ferraioli<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Silvia Di Pietro<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Aglaia Pezzato<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Federica Pellegrini<\/strong> posted a time of 3:30.28, and the\u00a0<strong>Maud Van Der Meer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Marrit Steenbergen<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Maaike De Waard<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> clocked 3:31.10.<\/p>\n<p>Australia finished just off the podium in fourth, posting a 3:31.31 as Pellegrini overtook\u00a0<strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong> (52.00) on the anchor leg.
