Swimming World<\/em>\u00a0continues a series in which top coaches share some of the secrets of their success. The December\u00a0issue of\u00a0Swimming World Magazine<\/em>\u00a0highlights the many accomplishments of Coach Bill Sweetenham<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sweetenham has had a global influence on competitive swimming. He considers his greatest achievement taking more than 30 club coaches from five countries and helping them to be- come international podium coaches. Fittingly, in September, he was inducted into the International Swimming Coaches Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

He has placed 63 swimmers on national teams, coached 27 medalists at the Olympic and World Championship level and worked with 20 world record holders, most notably Stephen<\/strong> Holland<\/strong>, Michelle<\/strong> Ford<\/strong> and Tracey<\/strong> Wickham<\/strong> from his very early years of coaching.<\/p>\n
