Indiana’s\u00a0Vini Lanza\u00a0<\/strong>flirted with a sub-46 second swim in prelims of the men’s 100 fly, stopping the clock at a 46.08. Lanza topped the competition in the men’s 200 IM yesterday and will look to add a second gold medal to his collection.<\/p>\nMinnesota’s\u00a0Daryl Turner<\/strong> posted the only other 46-second swim with a qualifying time of 46.49, good for the second place seed.<\/p>\nRyan Mccoy<\/strong>, swimming unattached, grabbed the third place seed with a 47.23, while Olympian\u00a0Tom Shields\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 47.54 for the fourth place seed. Finnerty stopped the clock at a 53.32 from heat six, while Kandt delivered a 53.34 from heat five.<\/p>\nMike Alexandrov\u00a0<\/strong>of New York Athletic Club posted a qualifying time of 53.44, followed by University of North Carolina’s\u00a0Criag Emslie\u00a0<\/strong>and his time of 53.37.<\/p>\nRostyslav Fedyna<\/strong>, swimming unattached, picked up the sixth place seed with a 53.71, just ahead of Minnesota’s\u00a0Conner McHugh<\/strong> (53.83) and WEST Swim Club’s\u00a0Nick Zito<\/strong> (54.32).<\/p>\nWomen’s 100 Back:<\/h3>\n
