Weir picked up yet another National title, posting a 21.81 to win the race by four tenths of a second. Shields, meanwhile, decided to swim the final as butterfly, finishing sixth at 20.10 after swimming a majority of the race underwater.<\/p>\n<p>After her race, Weir explained what has kept her going in the sport for so long and why she decided to compete at Nationals, even though she has another big meet coming up next week with the Short Course World Championships.
