Hit refresh for the latest coverage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Events:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 500 Free<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 500 Free<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 200 IM<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 200 IM<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 50 Free<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 50 Free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 500 Free:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Erica Sullivan<\/strong>, representing Sandpipers of Nevada, turned in the top time of the morning in the women&#8217;s 500-yard freestyle. Sullivan led heat four for the majority of the race, despite a huge push from Ohio State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lindsey Clary<\/strong>. Sullivan stopped the clock at a 4:39.66 over Clary&#8217;s 4:40.46 to claim the top two seeds.<\/p>\n<p>The Indiana duo of\u00a0<strong>Stephanie Marchuk<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Cassy Jernberg\u00a0<\/strong>picked up the third and fourth place seeds with times of 4:44.60 and 4:45.47 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota added two\u00a0athletes to tonight&#8217;s &#8216;A&#8217; final as\u00a0<strong>Brooke Z<\/strong><b>eiger<\/b> (4:45.86) and\u00a0<strong>Erin Emery\u00a0<\/strong>(4:46.12) grabbed the fifth and sixth place seeds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miranda Heckman<\/strong> of Pleasanton Seahawks and\u00a0<strong>Amanda Richey\u00a0<\/strong>of Pitt round out the top eight qualifiers with times of 4:47.61 and 4:47.85 respectively.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 500 Free:<\/h3>\n<p>Indiana swept the top three qualifying spots in the men&#8217;s 500 free, posting times within one second each other from three separate heats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Max Irwin\u00a0<\/strong>claimed the top seed with a 4:19.40 finish from the sixth and final heat, while teammate\u00a0<strong>Jackson Miller<\/strong> grabbed second with a 4:19.50 from heat five.\u00a0<strong>Marwan El Kamash<\/strong> turned in a time of 4:20.20 to pick up the third place seed from heat three.<\/p>\n<p>Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sam Pomajevich\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 4:21.24 for the fourth place seed, followed by University of North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jorden Merrilees<\/strong> (4:21.67).<\/p>\n<p>Florida&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ben Lawless\u00a0<\/strong>and Nitro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sean Grieshop\u00a0<\/strong>turned in close times of 4:21.71 and 4:21.98 to earn the sixth and seventh place seeds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam Destrampe<\/strong> of Indiana posted a 4:22.84, good for the eighth place seed in tonight&#8217;s &#8216;A&#8217; final.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 IM:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Melanie<\/strong> <strong>Margalis<\/strong>, representing St. Petersburg Aquatics, made her return to short course swimming with\u00a0the top seed of the morning in the women&#8217;s 200 IM, stopping the clock at a 1:56.07.<\/p>\n<p>Club Wolverine&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Miranda Tucker\u00a0<\/strong>picked up the second place seed for tonight&#8217;s final with a 1:57.95, while Canyon Aquatics&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Nikol Popov\u00a0<\/strong>earned third with a 1:58.30.<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Meg Bailey\u00a0<\/strong>turned in a 1:58.91 for the fourth place seed, followed quickly by Metroplex Aquatics&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Vanessa Pearl<\/strong> and her time of 1:58.96.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hannah Moore<\/strong> of NC State (1:58.98),\u00a0<strong>Danielle Herrmann<\/strong> of Clovis Swim Club (1:58.99), and\u00a0<strong>Kristen Romano<\/strong> of Long Island Aquatic Club (1:59.03) completed the top eight qualifiers.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200 IM:<\/h3>\n<p>Indiana continued their impressive morning with a top showing in the men&#8217;s 200 IM prelims.\u00a0<strong>Vini Lanza\u00a0<\/strong>delivered the top time of the morning with a 1:43.76, more than two seconds ahead of the competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Juan Sequera<\/strong>, swimming unattached, turned in a 1:45.92 for the second place seed, while\u00a0<strong>Nate Carr<\/strong>, also swimming unattached, picked up third with a 1:46.15.<\/p>\n<p>University of North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Michael Meyer\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 1:47.01 for fourth, followed by FAST&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Omar Pinzon<\/strong> (1:47.31).<\/p>\n<p>Florida&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong> and Indiana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bob Glover\u00a0<\/strong>delivered matching times of 1:47.53 from heats three and six respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean Lee<\/strong> of Swim Pasadena rounded out the top eight qualifiers with a time of 1:48.03.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 50 Free:<\/h3>\n<p>Olympian<strong> Amanda Weir<\/strong>, representing SwimAtlanta, splashed her way to the top of the qualifiers list in the women&#8217;s 50 free with a 22.17 finish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isabella Arcila<\/strong>, a Colombian Olympian from Canyons Aquatic Club, touched second overall with a 22.44, followed by a tie between Michigan State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Racheal Bukowski<\/strong> and University of North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caroline Baldwin.\u00a0<\/strong>Bukowski and Baldwin stopped the clock at matching 22.50&#8217;s from heats six and seven respectively.<\/p>\n<p>SwimAtlanta&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maddie Locus<\/strong> posted a close fifth with a 22.56, just ahead of Minnesota&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Danielle Nack&#8217;s<\/strong> 22.68.<\/p>\n<p>The top eight concluded with another tie as University of North Carolina teammates\u00a0<strong>Sarah Hitchens\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Brooke Bauer<\/strong> swam to matching 22.73&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 50 Free:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Tom Shields<\/strong> flexed his sprint speed in prelims of the men&#8217;s 50 free, grabbing the first place seed with a dynamic 19.31.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bowen Becker\u00a0<\/strong>turned in a 19.60 for the second place seed, while\u00a0<strong>Jacob Molacek<\/strong> of Greater Omaha Area Aquatics picked up third with a 19.69.<\/p>\n<p>Indiana picked up the fourth and fifth place seeds with solid swims from\u00a0<strong>Sam Lorentz<\/strong> (19.72) and\u00a0<strong>Oliver Patrouch<\/strong> (19.92).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, 15-year-old\u00a0<strong>Jack Dolan\u00a0<\/strong>of Rockwood Swim Club arguably stole the show with a 20.01 swim. Dolan sprinted past his previous best of 20.53 to land at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usaswimming.org\/_Rainbow\/Documents\/4d2c4872-4244-4caf-985d-5c0afb703e2c\/boys_1516_scy.PDF\" target=\"_blank\">#7 all-time<\/a> for the 15-16 age group in the 50 free.
