They can be especially long days when they involve hours devoted to the road trip. You spend so much time before-hand trying to prepare your body and mind to be ready to race. But, in a travel meet there are some added elements that go into this. Here are some things to remember as you prepare for a long journey to an away meet:<\/p>\n<h3>1. Pack ahead and get to the bus early so you don&#8217;t feel overwhelmed and rushed.<\/h3>\n<h3>2. Find a suitable bus buddy!<\/h3>\n<h3>3. Bring way more snacks than you think are necessary.<\/h3>\n<h3>5.\u00a0Get some motion sickness medicine \u2013 you may not think this applies to you, but you never know!<\/h3>\n<h3>6.
