The Nova men won over the Spartans 169-93, while the women\u2019s team won 181-81. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The men\u2019s meet was dominated by the Sharks, with the Nova men winning 13 of the 14 events in the competition. Junior <\/span><b>Franco Lupoli <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">posted two NCAA qualifying times in the distance events, touching the wall first in the 1,000 (9:34.10) and 500 (4:35.98) frees. His time in the 1,000 free was a season best time and puts the distance specialist 6th in the country. The only event the Sharks failed to win was the 100 butterfly, which was won by Spartan <\/span><b>Marc-Oliver Caron. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The women\u2019s meet was even more dominant for the Sharks, as their women\u2019s team swept all 14 of the contested events. Senior <\/span><b>Emma Wahlstrom <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">secured two more NCAA provisional cuts in the 100 free (51.35) and 200 free (1:50.96), both of which were also season best times. Both times also have <\/span><b>Wahlstrom <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the top 10 in the country, with her 200 free positioning her third. Teammate <\/span><b>Malin Westman, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a junior, also posted two provisional qualifying times en route to the winning the breaststroke events. <\/span><b>Westman <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">posted a 1:03.88 in the 100 breast and 2:17.69 in the 200 breast to sit within the top 10 nationally in both events. Full results of the meet can be found <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/sidearm.sites.s3.amazonaws.com\/nsusharks.com\/documents\/2016\/11\/19\/Results.htm\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Such a dominant win for the Sharks signals that they should be in the mix to challenge for both team championship titles at the Sunshine State Conference Meet in February. Both teams were second at last year\u2019s conference meet behind Florida Southern.
