For more information about Agon, visit their website <a href=\"https:\/\/agonswim.com\/\">AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n<p>Bellingham Bay Swim Team&#8217;s <strong>Sydney Wong<\/strong> commits to swim at University of San Diego (USD) in the Fall of 2017. The Squalicum High School senior in Bellingham, Washington said she chose USD because it has the perfect balance of academics and athletics. Upon visiting the university, she &#8220;instantly fell in love with the school, the team, and the coaching staff. The team is so close and it&#8217;s a really positive environment. The campus is gorgeous and it felt like home.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Swimming competitively since age ten, Wong&#8217;s best events are the 100 free (51.83) and 200 free (1:51.72). She believes a high point in her swimming career thus far was winning the 400 Medley Relay last year at Speedo Sectionals at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington. Also, Wong admits Bellingham Bay Swim Team head coach <strong>Sean Muncie<\/strong> has impacted her swimming the most. &#8220;He has done so much for me these past years and I wouldn&#8217;t be where I am without him. He has really helped me grow as a person both in and out of the pool.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Wong said she is &#8220;looking forward to training outdoors! Training and competing with new people in a new setting is another thing as well. What I&#8217;ll miss the most about club swimming are the people. They&#8217;re all my best friends and we&#8217;ve made so many memories together throughout the years.
