Check out the highlights from that meet and competitions across Division II in this week\u2019s meet recap!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Queens vs. Gardner-Webb, Richmond<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Queens University of Charlotte hosted two Division I opponents this weekend, Gardner-Webb and Richmond (women only) this weekend, sweeping the meet on both sides. The Royals women defeated Gardner-Webb 180-81 and Richmond 182-79, while the Royal men defeated Gardner-Webb 183-79.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Queens women saw several season bests throughout the meet to continue adding swimmers to the top times in the country. <\/span><b>Josephina Lorda <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">notched two wins in the 400 IM and 200 butterfly, touching in season bests 4:26.88 and 2:04.35 respectively to move herself up to fourth in the country in both events. <\/span><b>Kyrie Dobson <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">also moved up to fifth in the country in the 50 freestyle, hitting the wall in 23.73. On the men\u2019s side, junior <\/span><b>Paul Pijulet <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rocketed himself to the top time in the country in the 100 butterfly, taking the win in 48.49 before doing the same thing in the 200 backstroke. Splitting 54.14 on the front half to come home in 54.83, <\/span><b>Pijulet <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hit the wall in 1:48.97 to sneak by Northern Michigan\u2019s <\/span><b>Renars Bundzis. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, junior standout <\/span><b>Dion Dreesens <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">did not compete this weekend. Full results of the meet can be found <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/sidearm.sites.s3.amazonaws.com\/queensathletics.com\/documents\/2016\/11\/5\/meet_results_queens_gw_rich_11_5_16.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Indianapolis vs. McKendree, Lewis, &amp; Bellarmine<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The University of Indianapolis hosted McKendree, Lewis, and Bellarmine on their senior weekend for a two day competition that led to a convincing sweep of all three universities. The most notable swims of the meet came from junior <\/span><b>Malvina Shoukri <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">touched first in the 50 free (24.34), 100 free (52.09), and 100 back (59.10) while also contributing to four winning relays for the Greyhounds. That 100 free time is a best time for <\/span><b>Shoukri <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and puts her just outside the top 10 nationally<\/span><b>, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">while the 50 is just a few hundredths off her best time. With the team\u2019s main focus for the fall on the House of Champions meet at IUPUI in a couple weeks, expect <\/span><b>Shoukri <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and her teammates to be looking to grab some NCAA cuts in the near future. Full results of the meet can be found <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/athletics.uindy.edu.s3.amazonaws.com\/documents\/2016\/11\/5\/results_uindy_quad_1105.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Wingate vs. Catawba, Limestone, Lenoir-Rhyne<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The #9 ranked Wingate women and #13 ranked Wingate men both came away with clean sweeps at their quad meet that was held at Mecklenburg County Aquatics Center this weekend. The Wingate women won the meet with 750 total points, while the men won with 613. The next three teams were identical on both sides: Lenoir-Rhyne University was second, Catawba College was third, and Limestone College was fourth. Full scores can be seen below:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Women<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Wingate University 750 <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Lenoir Rhyne University 381 <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Catawba College 250 <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Limestone College 223 <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Men Scores<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Wingate University 613 <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Lenoir Rhyne University 406 <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Catawba College 379 <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Limestone College 285<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Limestone College men\u2019s result shows a big drop off from last year, when they were third in the conference right behind Wingate. The same goes for the women\u2019s side, where Limestone was sixth at the end of the year ahead of both Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba. While Wingate still seems a ways off from catching Queens at the Bluegrass Conference Meet, these results suggest a potential reordering of teams at the end of the year.
