He placed 11th overall with a 50.99 to shatter the previous NAG record of 51.40, set in 2014 by\u00a0<strong>Vinny Marciano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Splits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dalmacio (2016): 25.04\/25.95 &#8211; 50.99<\/li>\n<li>Marciano (2014): 24.65\/26.75 &#8211; 51.40<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The newly turned 12-year-old added a second NAG record for the weekend in the 200-yard backstroke with a 1:53.33 finish. His time edged him past the previous record of 1:53.36 set last February by King Aquatic Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tyler Lu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Swimmers have slowly been shaving down the 200-yard backstroke NAG record, taking off milliseconds at a time.<\/p>\n<p>Splits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dalmacio (2016): 27.20\/29.26\/28.68\/28.19 &#8211; 1:53.33<\/li>\n<li>Lu (2016): 26.90\/28.67\/29.15\/28.64 &#8211; 1:53.36<\/li>\n<li>Lasco (2014): 26.73\/29.02\/29.15\/<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to his two new NAG records Dalmacio also owns the 10 &amp; under 50 (30.95) and 100 (1:07.40) LCM backstroke records, 200 LCM Individual Medley (2:31.87), 50 (26.91) and 100 (58.62) SCY backstroke records, 100 SCY Individual Medley (1:01.21) and 11-12 50 LCM backstroke (27.88) records.<\/p>\n<p><em>All results from Kevin Perry Invitational available on Meet Mobile.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ronald Dalmacio, 12, of Rose Bowl Aquatics downed both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke National Age Group records while swimming at the Kevin Perry Invitational this past weekend.
