The format of the meet is trials\/finals for 11-12 and 13 and over swimmers, and timed finals for 10-and-under swimmers. Many teams will be in attendance, including Bluefish Swim Club, Seacoast Swimming Association, The Current, Kingfish Swimming, Southern Maine Aquatic Club, and Webbs Tornadoes Swim Team.<\/p>\n<p><em>Swimming World<\/em> staff member\u00a0<strong>David Rieder<\/strong> and intern <strong>Natalia Kaczor<\/strong> will be present to provide a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/common\/published\/HomePageLiveStreamingChannelBlock11.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>live stream of the meet on Swimming World&#8217;s website.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Session 1 Preview: Friday Evening Distance<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>12&amp;U 500 FR, 12&amp;U 400 IM, OPEN 1000 FR<\/p>\n<p>There are many standout 12-and-under swimmers in this session. <strong>Jenn Buche<\/strong> and <strong>Katie White<\/strong> lead the 12&amp;U 500 free field by over 20 seconds. <strong>Aislin Farris<\/strong> leads the 400 IM field by over 12 seconds. On the boys side, <strong>Landon Him<\/strong> leads both the 500 free field by five seconds and 400 IM field by seven seconds.<\/p>\n<p>In the OPEN 1000 free,<strong> Kate Magil<\/strong> is the top female seed in 10:12.63, and the top male seed is <strong>Devon Major<\/strong> in 9:46.93.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sessions 2 Preview: Saturday Morning OPEN Prelims<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>OPEN 500 FR, OPEN 200 IM, OPEN 50 FR, OPEN 100 FL, OPEN 200 BR, OPEN 100 BK<\/p>\n<p>Once again,<strong> Katie Magil<\/strong> is the top seed in the 500 in 4:58.57, whereas <strong>Will Barao<\/strong> is the top mens seed in 4:31.50. The women&#8217;s 200 IM also presents a tight field, with the top five swimmers all under 2:11. On the men&#8217;s side, the top seven swimmers are all under 2:00. The women&#8217;s 50 free boasts eight swimmers at, or under, the 25-second mark. On the men&#8217;s side, 14 swimmers are seeded below the 24-second mark.<\/p>\n<p>The top seed in the women&#8217;s 100 fly is <strong>Millie Benkert<\/strong>, leading by\u00a0almost two full seconds. <strong>River Wright<\/strong> leads the men&#8217;s side jsut below the 50 second mark, at 49.96. Thirteen-year-old <strong>Megan Kramer<\/strong> leads the women&#8217;s 200 breast field by nearly three seconds, with a 2:25.94. \u00a0The men&#8217;s 200 breast has the top three seeds within one second of each other. The top three seeds in the women&#8217;s 100 back are al under the 1:00 mark. <strong>River Wright<\/strong> snatches another top seed in the men&#8217;s 100 back in 50.67.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Session 3 Preview: Saturday Afternoon 11-12 Prelims and 10&amp;U Timed Finals<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>10&amp;U 200 IM, 11-12 200 IM, 8&amp;U 25 FL, 10&amp;U 50 FR, 11-12 50 FR, 10&amp;U 100 FL, 11-12 100 FLY, 8&amp;U 25 BK, 10&amp;U 50 BR, 11-12 200 BR, 10&amp;U 100 BK, 11-12 100 BK<\/p>\n<p><strong>Courtney Rice\u00a0<\/strong>grabs the top spot in the 10-and-under 200 IM with a 2:48.16, whereas <strong>Zach Dauphin\u00a0<\/strong>leads the field by 12 seconds with a 2:33.33. <strong>Natalie Mannion<\/strong> leads the 11-12 girls with a 2:15.98, and <strong>Erik Watka<\/strong> leads the boys in 2:17.38. <strong>Anna Richman<\/strong> is seeded right below 20 seconds in 19.99 for the 8-and-under 25 fly. <strong>Henry McClelland\u00a0<\/strong>leads the boys in 23.42. There are two girls just below the 30-second mark for the 10-and-under 50 free, but on the boys&#8217; side, <strong>Cormac McKenney<\/strong> is the lone boy under 30. <strong>Megan Huntley<\/strong> leads the 11-12 girls in 26.57, and <strong>Landon Him<\/strong> leads the boys in 25.22.<\/p>\n<p>In the 11-12 100 fly, <strong>Natalie Mannion\u00a0<\/strong>owns the top time with 1:01.41, and <strong>Landom Him<\/strong> snatches another top time in 57.97. Young talent in the 8-and-under 25 back is brought forth by <strong>Anna Richman<\/strong> and <strong>Henry McClelland<\/strong>, both as top seeds. <strong>Courtney Rice<\/strong> is the lone girl to crack 40 seconds in the 50 breast; <strong>Cormac McKenney<\/strong> is first in 42.46. Two Bluefish swimmers lead the girls 11-12 200 breastroke by almost six seconds: <strong>Ella Smith<\/strong> and <strong>Ava Larkin<\/strong>. <strong>William Ayinon<\/strong> leads the boys by an astounding 13 seconds. For the 100 back, <strong>Korryn Cartwright\u00a0<\/strong>leads the 10-and-under 100 back field by four seconds, whereas <strong>Shea Sargent<\/strong> leads his field by two.\u00a0<strong>Natalie Mannion<\/strong> holds another top time in 58.94 in the 11-12 100 back. <strong>Landom Him<\/strong> racks up another top seed in the 11-12 100 back.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Session 5 Preview: Sunday Morning OPEN Prelims<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>OPEN 400 IM, OPEN 200 FR, OPEN 100 BR, OPEN 200 FLY, OPEN 100 FR, OPEN 200 BK<\/p>\n<p>In the female 400 IM, the top five swimmers are below the 4:38 mark. <strong>Will Barao<\/strong> leads the men in 4:00.65. There are 11 females under the 2:00 mark in the 200 free. <strong>Will Barao<\/strong> leads the 200 free as well, in a comfortable 1:40.32. <strong>Emma Bridges<\/strong> and <strong>Eunice Yang<\/strong> take the top two 100 breast seeds, within 0.06 seconds of each other. <strong>River Wright\u00a0<\/strong>grabs another top seed in the 100 breast as the only male under 1:00, with a time of 57.66.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Millie Benkert<\/strong> leads the 200 fly field by almost seven seconds. Yet again, <strong>River Wright<\/strong> steals the top spot in the 200 fly with a 1:51.35. The top three female seeds in the 100 free are within 0.19 seconds of each other. On the men&#8217;s side, <strong>Willi Barao<\/strong> steals the spotliht again, this time in 47.80. <strong>Gianna Spremullo<\/strong> leads the 200 back in 2:05.37. <strong>Harry Homans<\/strong> and <strong>Keda Song<\/strong> are seperated by 0.01 to take the top two spots, in 1:50.65 and 1:50.66, respectively.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sessions 6 Preview: 11-12 Prelims and 10&amp;U Timed Finals<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>10&amp;U 200 FR, 11-12 200 FR, 8&amp;U 25 FR, 10&amp;U 100 BR, 11-12 100 BR, 10&amp;U 50 FL, 11-12 200 FL, 8&amp;U 25 BR, 10&amp;U 100 FR, 11-12 100 FR, 10&amp;U 50 BK, 11-12 200 BK<\/p>\n<p><strong>Korryn Cartwright<\/strong> grabs another top seed in the 10-and-under 200 free in 2:28.39. <strong>Cormac McKenney<\/strong> grabs another 11-12 top seed with 2:24.63. <strong>Ava Larkin<\/strong> steals the 11-12 200 free top time in 2:02.94. <strong>Landom Him<\/strong> is the only 11-12 boy under 2:00, in 1:58.89. Five 8-and-under girls are under the 20-second mark in the 25 free. Seven-year-old <strong>Luca Guerra<\/strong> is the top boys seed in 19.01. \u00a0Four 10-and-under girls are under 1:40 in the 100 breast. <strong>Ava Larkin<\/strong> steals another top seed in the 11-12 100 breast in 1:10.40. <strong>Landon Him<\/strong> lands on top again, this time in the 11-12 100 breast in 1:15.24. <strong>Korryn Cartwright<\/strong> is on top again in the 10-and-under 50 fly in 34.03. <strong>Cormac McKenney<\/strong> leads the 50 ly by nearl four seconds, in 33.53.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aislin Farris<\/strong> leads the 11-12 200 fly field by a substansial 21 seconds, and <strong>Erik Watka<\/strong> leads the boys by nearly 23. Four 8-and-under girls dip under :30 in the 25 breast. <strong>Johnny Nawrocki<\/strong> leads the boys by five seconds. <strong>Korryn Cartwight<\/strong> runs away with another top spot in the 100 free with 1:05.70. \u00a0Yet again, <strong>Korryn Cartwright<\/strong> leads in 1:05.80. Three 11-12 girls are sub 1:00 in the 100 free, and five 11-12 boys are as well. With another top seed, <strong>Korryn Cartwright<\/strong> steals it with 35.00 in the 10-and-under 50 back.
