Alexander Santana\u00a0<\/strong>has verbally committed to Boston College. Santana is a mid-distance to distance freestyler. The Californian will head across the country in the fall. He is a senior at San Diego’s\u00a0University City High School and swims for Pacific Swim.<\/p>\n

He said of his decision,<\/p>\n

“I chose Boston college because of the awesome coaches and absolutely amazing team atmosphere. I can’t wait to swim for BC for the next 4 years. Go eagles!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

At the 2016 CIF-San Diego Section Division II championships, Santana won the 500 freestyle. He then finished tenth at the California state meet in a best time.<\/p>\n
