Robinson is a backstroker and distance swimmer at Memphis Tiger Swim Club in Memphis, Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>His best times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 Back 23.09<\/li>\n<li>100 Back 48.75<\/li>\n<li>200 Back 1:49.99<\/li>\n<li>500 Free 4:32.13<\/li>\n<li>1000 Free 9:41.48<\/li>\n<li>1650 Free 15:35.57<\/li>\n<li>200 Fly 1:53.75<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Robinson shared that he has long standing connections to Alabama, &#8220;The University of Alabama has always been about family for me. I will always remember going to my granddad\u2019s house with the Bear Bryant room and cheering for the Tide.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He chose to make Tuscaloosa his home for the next four years,\u00a0\u201cThen, when I visited on my recruit trip\u2026.It felt like family\u2026it felt like home.\u00a0Bama is in my blood\u2026..RTR.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American attends Memphis University School. At the <a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-tennessee-high-school-state-championships\" target=\"_blank\">2016 Tennessee High School State<\/a> Championships, he earned bronze in the 200 freestyle and earned runner up honors in the 100 backstroke. Robinson also led (45.78) his school&#8217;s 400 freestyle relay to a state title. He also led off the winning 200 medley relay.
