Yetter previously coached at the club from 2001 until 2009, and while there he helped coach\u00a0<strong>Katie Hoff\u00a0<\/strong>onto two Olympic teams and helped her win three Olympic medals and six World titles.<\/p>\n<p>Yetter also helped develop the likes of\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Pelton<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Felicia Lee<\/strong>, <strong>Dan Madwed<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Courtney Kalisz\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Brendan Morris<\/strong>\u00a0before moving on to Auburn University in 2009 and then T2 Aquatics in Florida a year later. He succeeds\u00a0<strong>Erik Posegay<\/strong>, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/former-nbac-head-coach-erik-posegay-named-assistant-at-penn-state\/\" target=\"_blank\">recently left<\/a> to take a job coaching at Penn State. Posegay <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/erik-posegay-to-take-over-north-baltimore-head-coaching-duties-in-august\/\" target=\"_blank\">took over a year earlier<\/a>\u00a0when\u00a0<strong>Bob Bowman<\/strong> became the head coach at Arizona State.<\/p>\n<p>Read the full press release from NBAC below:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">The Board of Directors of the North Baltimore Aquatic Club is pleased to announce that Head Coach <strong>Tom Himes<\/strong> has hired <strong>Paul Yetter<\/strong> as the Head Senior Coach.\u00a0 Coach Yetter led NBAC to consecutive USA Swimming Spring Championships (2006 &amp; 2007) was an Assistant Coach for US Olympic Team in 2008 as well as Head Women\u2019s Coach for US Pan American Games in 2007.\u00a0 Coach Yetter led<strong> Katie Hoff<\/strong> to two World Records and 18 American Records while coaching 12 different swimmers to 90 No. 1 National Age Group Rankings.\u00a0 Paul has been appointed nine times to positions on the \u00a0USA National Team or Team USA squads in international competition.\u00a0 In 2007, he was named USA Swimming\u2019s Developmental Coach of the Year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Head Coach Tom Himes said, \u201cMy goal was to find a top notch coach who would be committed to the program immediately and for the long term.\u00a0 I believe we have found that coach with Paul Yetter and am excited for Paul to continue the NBAC legacy of providing a program of excellence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Paul swam for NBAC from 1990 to 1996.\u00a0 He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1998.\u00a0 He has coached at Verona High School (Wisconsin), Badger Aquatics (Wisconsin), Bel Air Athletic Club (MD) and the North Baltimore Aquatic Club from 2001 until 2009.\u00a0 He spent one year at Auburn University before starting his most recent position as Head Coach at T2 Aquatics in Naples, Florida from 2010 until 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">About returning to NBAC, Paul said, \u201cMy family and I are extremely excited to make the move back to Baltimore and rejoin the NBAC family.\u00a0 I\u2019d like to thank Head Coach Tom Himes and the rest of the NBAC staff, board and membership for welcoming me back to the team.\u00a0 I\u2019m excited to meet our athletes and family members next month and get right to work.\u00a0 Let\u2019s be the best we can be, every day, in each aspect of our lives.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">USA Swimming National Team Director <strong>Frank Busch<\/strong> said, \u201cCongratulations to both NBAC and Paul.\u00a0 Paul\u2019s accomplishments, at all levels, will be a great asset to NBAC.\u00a0 It is a natural fit for Paul to return to where he began his successful career in coaching.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Coach Yetter will be on deck in his new position beginning the week of <span data-term=\"goog_2013260910\">November 14, 2016<\/span>.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>North Baltimore Aquatic Club announced Monday evening\u00a0Paul Yetter\u00a0is returning to the club as Head Senior Coach.
