McQueary is from Bethel, Ohio and swims for M.E. Lyons YMCA&#8217;s Anderson Barracudas. At YMCA Nationals this summer, McQueary finished as high as fifth in the 50 meter breaststroke with a 33.72.<\/p>\n<p>Her best yards times are:<br \/>\n100 breast -1:04.92<br \/>\n200 breast -2:25.28<br \/>\n50 free &#8211; 24.61<br \/>\n100 free \u2013 57.67<\/p>\n<p>McQueary attends Bethel Tate High School and is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. While Bethel Tate lacks a pool and a swim team, McQueary&#8217;s club coach\u00a0<strong>Ed Bachman\u00a0<\/strong>has served as her high school coach. As a sophomore she finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.28) at the OHSAA Division 2 State Meet, after capturing the Sectional Title. In her junior year, McQueary swam a faster 100 breaststroke at the state meet (1:04.92) and finished sixth. She also qualified in the 50 freestyle where she finished twelfth (24.65).<\/p>\n<p>Cleveland State finished seventh at the <a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-horizon-league-championships\" target=\"_blank\">2016 Horizon League Championships<\/a>, only two and a half points behind Youngstown State University. McQueary will give the team a welcome boost. Her best 100 breaststroke would have made her a B finalist last year.\u00a0<strong>Tobie Zeller\u00a0<\/strong>(1:03.09) was the team&#8217;s only scorer in the event last year.
