{"id":225659,"date":"2016-10-18T16:18:43","date_gmt":"2016-10-18T23:18:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=225659"},"modified":"2016-10-18T19:21:40","modified_gmt":"2016-10-19T02:21:40","slug":"three-inducted-into-canadian-swimming-coaches-hall-of-fame","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/three-inducted-into-canadian-swimming-coaches-hall-of-fame\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Inducted Into Canadian Swimming Coaches&#8217; Hall of Fame"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the 2016 Canadian Swimming Congress, the Canadian Swim Coaches and Teachers Association (CSCTA) inducted\u00a0<strong>Clifford Barry<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Paul Meronen<\/strong>\u00a0and the late <strong> Dr.\u00a0<strong>Jeno Tihanyi\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>into its Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n<p>Barry never swam competitively but played water polo for Canada in two Olympic Games, in 1972 and 1976.
