The Sugar Land, Texas resident has given her verbal commitment to the University of Houston.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 Fly 25.00<\/li>\n<li>100 Fly 55.27<\/li>\n<li>200 Fly 2:03.00<\/li>\n<li>200 IM 2:07.61<\/li>\n<li>400 IM 4:28.83<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tillman explained to\u00a0<em>Swimming World\u00a0<\/em>why she chose Houston,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I chose the University of Houston because of its excellence in academics and athletic programs! I am very excited that I get to continue my swimming career with such a close proximity to home. I felt that Coach Ryan would be a great coach for me in my next 4 years of swimming! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me as a cougar!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>She&#8217;ll join a class that includes <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/houston-picks-up-verbal-commitment-from-sidney-trimm\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sidney Trimm<\/a>,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/sprinter-mykenzie-leehy-announces-verbal-commitment-to-university-of-houston\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mykenzie Leehy<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/backstroker-montana-lloyd-becomes-houstons-second-verbal-commit\/\" target=\"_blank\">Montana Lloyd<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>At the<strong><strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-american-athletic-conference-championships\" target=\"_blank\">American Athletic Conference Championship<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>Tillman would have pulled in some big points as a 100 butterfly A finalist. Only\u00a0<strong>Sharo Rodriguez Rivera\u00a0<\/strong>was faster for the Cougars. The two will have a year to train together. Tillman would have landed in the B final of the 200 butterfly last year.
