The entire swim took her 56 hours to complete.<\/p>\n<p>A native of Conifer, Colorado, Thomas never stopped during her swim, nor did she get our of the water. This qualifies her for a record for an unassisted swim.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas had a team of thirteen people to aid her by delivering food every half hour and being on hand in case of an emergency.
