She swims for Badger Swim Club in New York.<\/p>\n<p>The high school senior is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and a multiple time NCSA Junior National finalist. Cummings was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/lauren-case-and-carly-cummings-interview-each-other-on-bus-in-ireland-video\/\" target=\"_blank\">member of the US Team<\/a> that swam at the 2015 Irish Open. At this summer&#8217;s US Open, Cummings&#8217; highest finish came in the 200 IM where she touched 13th. That event was also her highest finish (29th) at Olympic Trials this summer where Cummings also raced the 100 breaststroke, 200 fly, and 400 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Her best short course yards times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 Breast 28.97<\/li>\n<li>100 Breast 1:02.07<\/li>\n<li>200 IM 2:00.83<\/li>\n<li>400 IM 4:13.98<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cummings\u00a0shared,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I chose auburn because they are a team on a mission! I have no doubt that by attending the university I&#8217;ll have the opportunities to succeed in and out of the pool. The Auburn Tigers are truly a family, and I can&#8217;t wait to be apart of it!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the SEC Championships, it took a sub-two minute swim to final in the 200 IM last year. In the 400 IM, Cummings would have offered a boost to the Tigers. Her best time would be a B final swim. She also would have been a 100 breaststroke C finalist at the 2016 meet. Auburn had two finals swims in the 100 breaststroke last year, though none of those swimmers<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>will still be in Auburn next fall.
