Lucht is from Raleigh, North Carolina where he swims for the Marlins of Raleigh and Sanderson High School.<\/p>\n<p>While he has Winter Juniors cuts in the 200 butterfly and 400 IM, he is also a strong breaststroker. His best times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 Fly 50.95<\/li>\n<li>200 Fly 1:49.04<\/li>\n<li>200 IM 1:52.55<\/li>\n<li>400 IM 3:57.30<\/li>\n<li>100 Breast 59.79<\/li>\n<li>200 Breast 2:10.80<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From 2015 to 2016 Lucht knocked over a second off his best 200 fly time and improved his 400 IM by a second and a half.<\/p>\n<p>The Vols finished sixth at last year&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-southeastern-conference-championships\" target=\"_blank\">SEC Championships<\/a>. Lucht will join a butterfly group led by\u00a0<strong>Sam McHugh\u00a0<\/strong>who will be a senior in the 2017-2018 season.
