THE college recruiting process is coming to a close for some of the best and brightest prospects out there as they commit to the colleges of their choice.<\/p>\n<p>Auburn had a busy weekend with a pair of five star men from the Class of 2010 committing to the Southeastern Conference program.<\/p>\n<p>Five star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=6118 target=_blank>Nimrod Hayet<\/a>, who swims for Peddie Aquatics, made the decision to attend Auburn.  He holds long course senior national cuts in the 100-meter fly (53.65), 200-meter fly (1:57.97) and 400-meter IM (4:31.41).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, fellow five star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=8237 target=_blank>Evan Noble<\/a> also will compete for Auburn after his senior year of high school.  Noble, who swims for CSP and preps at Triad High, has long course senior national cuts in the 200-meter IM (2:03.71) and 400-meter IM (4:31.68). He also owns an NCAA Division I B cut in the 400-yard IM (3:55.40).<\/p>\n<p>Hayet and Noble join a burgeoning stellar class for Auburn that includes six star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=6522 target=_blank>Dagny Knutson<\/a> and five stars <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=6588 target=_blank>Chris Manning<\/a> and <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=6772 target=_blank>Erin Reisinger<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia had a strong weekend as well with two five stars pledging their services.<\/p>\n<p>Five star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=6472 target=_blank>Caroline Kenney<\/a>, who swims for Swim Atlanta and preps at North Gwinnett, will call Virginia home after her senior season.  Kenny owns long course senior national cuts in the 50-meter free (26.12), 200-meter free (2:03.33), 100-meter back (1:03.92) and 200-meter back (2:16.27). She also has NCAA Division I B cuts in the 100-yard free (50.15), 200-yard free (1:47.10), 100-yard back (55.61) and 200-yard back (1:56.23).<\/p>\n<p>Fellow five star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=7525 target=_blank>Emily Lloyd<\/a> also verballed to Virginia.  Lloyd, who swims for SPY Swimming and preps at Severna Park High, is a sprinter with long course senior national cuts in the 50-meter free (25.74) and 100-meter free (56.79). She also would have qualified to compete in the 100-yard free (49.02) at the 2009 NCAA Division I Championships, and owns B cuts in the 50-yard free (22.70) and 200-yard free (1:48.18).<\/p>\n<p>Kenney and Lloyd join four star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=8230 target=_blank>Jonathan Buerger<\/a> as Virginia commits.<\/p>\n<p>Five star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=6454 target=_blank>Lauren Stauder<\/a> made Notre Dame head women&#39;s coach Brian Barnes a happy guy when she committed to remain close to home for college.  Stauder, who swims and preps at Carmel High, is a breaststroke star with long course senior national cuts in the 100-meter breast (1:11.24) and 200-meter breast (2:30.49). She also has an NCAA Division I B cut in the 100-yard breast (1:02.84).  She joins three star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=6113 target=_blank>Sarah Dotzel<\/a> as future Irish.<\/p>\n<p>Florida claimed its fifth five star commitment as <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=6001 target=_blank>Eric Solis<\/a> made the call to join the Gators.  Solis, who swims for the West Michigan Swimmers and preps at Holland High, has long course senior national cuts in the 100-meter breast (1:04.84), 200-meter IM (2:05.22) and 400-meter IM (4:27.42). He also has B cuts in the 200-yard IM (1:49.22) and 400-yard IM (3:54.25).<\/p>\n<p>Solis joins five stars <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=5790 target=_blank>Kaitlin Frehling<\/a>, <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=5699 target=_blank>Alicia Mathieu<\/a>, <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=8127 target=_blank>Jon Nunez<\/a> and <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=7806 target=_blank>Connor Signorin<\/a> as members of Florida&#39;s Class of 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Four star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=7767 target=_blank>Lauren Piper<\/a> gave Alabama an IM specialist.  Piper, who swims for St. Petersburg Aquatics and preps at Northeast High, owns a long course senior national cut in the 200-meter IM (2:20.03). She also holds an NCAA Division I B cut in the 400-yard IM (4:17.19).<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I knew after speaking with Coach Eric Mcllquham and Coach James Barber at the U.S. Open that Alabama was the college I wanted to swim for and a program where I could excel,&quot; Piper told <i>Swimming World<\/i>. &quot;Of course, after my trip to UNC plus the awesome hospitality from South Carolina, I really had a difficult decision. Ultimately, it was the Alabama campus and school tradition that I fell in love with; I can&#39;t wait to be a part of the Crimson Tide!!&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Four star <a href=http:\/\/www.takeyourmarks.com\/swm661?id=5708 target=_blank>McKayla Lightbourn<\/a> gave Florida State a third commitment.  Lightbourn, who swims for Sarasota YMCA and preps at Booker High, has a long course senior national cut in the 200-meter IM (2:20.09).
