Boise State picked up two verbal commitments for the class of 2021. The two newest broncos are already teammates.\u00a0Hayley Hill\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Emma Segneri\u00a0<\/strong>both swim for Scottsdale Aquatic Club in Arizona. The two swimmers bring different sets of talents with them to Idaho. Segneri is more of a sprinter and butterfly specialist while Hill’s best events extend into distance freestyle.<\/p>\n

Hayley Hill<\/h3>\n

Hill’s best times are:<\/p>\n

  • 100 Free 53.32<\/li>\n
  • 200 Free 1:51.64<\/li>\n
  • 500 Free 4:54.52<\/li>\n
  • 1000 Free 10:09.96<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Hill attends Pinnacle High School. At the 2015 Arizona State High School Championships<\/a> she finished fourth in the 200 and 500 freestyles. She was also on the school’s third place 200 and 400 freestyle relays.<\/p>\n

    At last season’s Mountain West Championship<\/a>, Boise finished second by only 13 points. Hill would have been a 500 free B finalist and a 200 freestyle C finalist. She’ll join a mid-distance group led by\u00a0Emma Chard\u00a0<\/strong>who will be a\u00a0senior in the 2017-2018 season.<\/p>\n
