High is a strong butterflier from Raleigh, North Carolina, where she swims for the Marlins of Raleigh.<\/p>\n<p>High explained,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I chose the College of William and Mary because I love the campus, team atmosphere, and coaches. There is a perfect balance between academics and swimming. I can&#8217;t wait to be a part of the tribe community!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 Fly 25.55<\/li>\n<li>100 Fly 54.45<\/li>\n<li>200 Fly 2:03.99<\/li>\n<li>100 Back 56.96<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>High attends Ravenscroft School and is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. She is the defending <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ravenscroft-girls-charlotte-latin-boys-claim-ncisaa-3a-titles\/\" target=\"_blank\">NCISAA 3A state champion<\/a> and state record holder in the 100 butterfly (55.26). At the 2016 state meet, she also finished runner up in the 100 backstroke (57.38). On the Ravens&#8217; way to their fourth consecutive state title, High was also a pivotal piece of the winning 200 medley relay and the runner up 400 freestyle relay squad.<\/p>\n<p>The Tribe won the <a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-caa-championships\" target=\"_blank\">2016 CAA Championships<\/a>\u00a0and High will be a point scoring contributor. At last year&#8217;s meet, her best 100 butterfly time would have placed third, just .06 shy from the NCAA B cut. Three Tribe swimmers were in that A final. She would have been a B finalist in the 200 butterfly and would have just missed the consolation final of the 100 backstroke.
