Toney is from Frisco and swims for Texas Ford Aquatics.<\/p>\n<p>Toney told\u00a0<em>Swimming World<\/em>,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m so incredibly excited! I knew it was the school for me the moment I stepped on campus! I can&#8217;t wait to be apart of such an amazing team! GIG EM!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The high school senior is a versatile pick up for the Aggies. She is a strong IMer with great freestyle range and strong 200s of stroke. In eight different events she scores over 800 power points according to USA Swimming. Toney&#8217;s best yards times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>400 IM 4:17.46<\/li>\n<li>200 Free 1:49.99<\/li>\n<li>500 Free 4:49.61<\/li>\n<li>200 Back 2:02.27<\/li>\n<li>200 Fly 2:02.79<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This summer Toney was a finalist in the 400 IM at Junior Nationals where she\u00a0posted a 4:53.76. She also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-America honors this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/aggies-secure-verbal-commitment-from-texan-haley-yelle\/\" target=\"_blank\">Haley Yelle<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/us-national-team-member-taylor-pike-picks-texas-am\/\" target=\"_blank\">Taylor Pike<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>have also given the Aggies verbal commitments. Yelle is also a strong freestyler. While Pike&#8217;s best event is the 200 butterfly, she has a good mile and a history of Open Water success. The trio will deepen the Aggie&#8217;s mid-distance and distance freestyle crew. A&amp;M won the women&#8217;s side of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2016-southeastern-conference-championships\" target=\"_blank\">SEC meet<\/a> last year.
