The two delivered the top two times of the prelims session to return as the first and second qualifiers with times of 53.19 and 53.55 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Ottesen will also return as the top seed in the women&#8217;s 50 fly with a qualifying time of 25.77.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Xu Jiayu\u00a0<\/strong>will look to sweep the backstroke events after day one&#8217;s win in the 100. Xu returns as the top qualifier in both the 50 (23.58) and the 200 (2:00.50).<\/p>\n<p>South Africa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Myles Brown\u00a0<\/strong>picked up the top seed in the men&#8217;s 200 free with a qualifying time of 1:45.97, while South African teammate\u00a0<strong>Chad le Clos\u00a0<\/strong>returns tied for third\u00a0(51.86) among a tight field of men in the 100 fly. Joining le Clos are\u00a0<strong>Zhang Qibin<\/strong> (51.37),\u00a0<strong>Miguel\u00a0<\/strong><b>Ortiz-Canavate<\/b> (51.81), and\u00a0<strong>Pavel Sankovich<\/strong> (51.86).<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 50 breaststroke is highlighted by the return of\u00a0<strong>Alia Atkinson<\/strong> (30.24),\u00a0<strong>Yulia Efimova<\/strong> (30.35),\u00a0<strong>Katie Meili\u00a0<\/strong>(30.44), and\u00a0<strong>Breeja Larson\u00a0<\/strong>(30.77).\u00a0All but Meili will return for finals of the women&#8217;s 200 breaststroke, led by Olympic gold medalist\u00a0<strong>Rie Kaneto\u00a0<\/strong>(2:22.41).<\/p>\n<p>On the men&#8217;s side,\u00a0<strong>Yan Zibei<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Marco Koch\u00a0<\/strong>turned in the top qualifying times for the 100 breaststroke with times of 58.43 and 58.91 respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chen Jie<\/strong> swam to a first place seed in prelims of the women&#8217;s 100 back, touching in a time of 58.02.\u00a0<strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> joins her in the final as the second place seed with a 58.78.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu will also make appearances in the 200 fly (2:08.30), 400 free (4:07.29), 100 IM (59.24), and 50 fly (26.32).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wang Shun<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Josh Prenot\u00a0<\/strong>highlight finals of the men&#8217;s 200 IM with the top two qualifying times. Wang posted a 1:57.70 for the first place seed over Prenot&#8217;s 1:58.94.<\/p>\n<p>Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong> will look to continue his reign over the men&#8217;s 50 free, qualifying first with a 21.51.
